Obituary for Beverly Viertlbeck (Geoffrion)

Beverly Viertlbeck (Geoffrion)
Beverly A. Viertlbeck, 84, passed away Saturday, September, 30, 2017, at her home, at the Lakes of Monclova, surrounded by her family. She was born September 9, 1933 to Maurice and Myrtle Geoffrion and was the last living of their seven children. Beverly was a former member of St. Agnes Church and presently a member of Regina Coeli Church, the Bavarian Sports Club, where she served as past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, and the G.A.F. Beverly worked at the former Ohio Citizen’s Bank (presently PNC Bank), and retired as a payroll coordinator, after 28 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Raymond) Barker; son, David (Kelly) Viertlbeck; grandchildren, Heather (Rod) Bauer, Timothy (Jen) Barker, Kelly (Jay) Sockman, Joseph (Jenni) Barker and Kristen (Dana) Benner; 14 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Anton “Don” Viertlbeck and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Viertlbeck, on April 16, 2017.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, from 2-8 p.m., in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads), where a scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Friends may also visit on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m., at Regina Coeli Church, 530 Regina Parkway. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakes of Monclove, Residents Activities Account.
